How to Customize the Survey Appearance and Styling

A. Access Appearance Settings

Step 1: Open the Survey app from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Select a survey configuration.

Step 3: Go to the Form tab.

Step 4: Click Appearance.


You can now customize how your survey looks and feels.

B. Customize Layout Style


Step 1: Adjust the overall layout styling, including:

  • Background color

  • Text color

  • Link color

  • Tab color

  • Accent color

Step 2: Set rounded corners to control how soft or sharp containers appear.

Step 3: Enable or disable:

  • Background shadow for depth

  • Background overlay for better contrast on busy pages

C. Style Survey Buttons


Step 1: Customize the appearance of survey buttons:

  • Next button (background and text color)

  • Back button (background and text color)

  • Submit button (background and text color)

Step 2: Adjust button corner radius to control the button shape.

D. Customize the Privacy Button


Step 1: Choose an icon style for the Privacy Button (Pen, Form, or Quote).

Step 2: Set the background color and icon color.

Step 3: Define button sizes for desktop and mobile.

Larger buttons can improve accessibility and compliance.

E. Style the Email Button


Step 1: Set the background color and text color of the Email button.

Step 2: Customize the button label text (e.g. “Start Survey”).


Step 1: Paste a public image URL for your logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG).

Step 2: Add a logo alt text for accessibility and SEO.

G. Customize Fonts


Step 1: Choose a font family that matches your brand.

Step 2: Select a font size for better readability across devices.
