How to Access and Customize Styling and Branding in CookieConsent

A. Access Styling Settings

Step 1: Open CookieConsent from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Select a company from the list.

Step 3: Select a consent configuration.

Step 4: Click Appearance in the top navigation.

Step 5: Open the Styling sub-tab.


B. Customize Layout Style (Global Colors)

Step 1: Under Layout Style, define the global colors used across all CMP components:

  • Background color

  • Text color

  • Link color

  • Tab color

  • Accent color

C. Configure Layer Corners

Step 1: Set Rounded Corners (px) to soften CMP edges.

D. Background Options

Step 1: Enable Background Shadow to add depth behind the modal.

Step 2: Enable Background Overlay for a subtle background fade.

E. Customize Button Styles

Step 1: Under Buttons, configure:

  • Accept button

  • Deny button

  • Save button

Step 2: Adjust Button Corners (px) as needed.

F. Toggle Styling

Step 1: Customize toggle colors for:

  • Active

  • Inactive

  • Disabled

G. Customize the Privacy Button

Step 1: Configure the floating privacy button:

  • Icon

  • Background color

  • Icon color

  • Desktop size

  • Mobile size

Step 1: Add a logo by setting:

  • Logo URL

  • Position (Left, Center, Right)

  • Alt text

I. Customize Fonts

Step 1: Choose font family and font size to match your branding.
