How to Access and Edit the Second Layer Content in CookieConsent

A. Access Second Layer Settings

Step 1: Open CookieConsent from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Select a consent configuration.

Step 3: Choose a configuration profile from the list.

Step 4: Click the Content tab at the top.

Step 5: Open the Second layer sub-tab.

B. Set the Second Layer Title

Step 1: Enter the title shown at the top of the Second Layer modal
(e.g. Privacy Settings or Detailed Cookie Settings).

C. Edit the Description

Step 1: Enter the description explaining what users can do in the Second Layer, such as:

• Managing tags

• Enabling or disabling categories

• Controlling trackers

• Understanding data processing purposes

You can format the text using bold text, lists, quotes, and paragraphs.

D. Manage Translations

Step 1: Click View translations to add language versions of the title and description.

If your website supports multiple languages, translations must be added manually.

E. Save Your Changes

Step 1: Click Update to apply your changes.
